Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, he holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA, bringing over two decades of experience in technology, systems, and business development.
After arriving in the United States in 2002, Gustavo worked his way forward through determination and hard work, establishing his career in Miami and becoming actively involved in the local community. His journey reflects the same values shared by many Doral residents: resilience, responsibility, and the pursuit of a better future.
In 2014, Gustavo began serving at Doral City Hall as a Legislative Analyst, where he spent more than eight years working directly within the local government. During that time, he was involved in key areas such as budgeting, policy development, and city operations. This hands-on experience gives him a clear and practical understanding of how decisions are made—and more importantly, how to make them work for the people.
Gustavo is not stepping into leadership to learn. He is stepping forward ready to act. He understands the challenges Doral faces—traffic, public safety, and responsible growth—and is committed to delivering real solutions that improve everyday life for residents.
